Role of Fundación FIC in handling requests
Fundación FIC may respond to requests received by telephone, WhatsApp, email or other channels enabled by the Red Cardiovascular Internacional. In this context, it may collect, record and retain identification data, contact data, information related to the request submitted and, where voluntarily provided by the user, health-related information.
These data will be used to manage the request, contact the user, follow up on the query, coordinate the possible appointment or referral to the corresponding professional or area, and maintain an internal record of the procedures carried out.
Said registration may be carried out through databases, internal management tools or records protected by appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including encryption systems, access control and conservation limited to the corresponding purpose.
Data Categories
Identification data, contact data, data voluntarily included in the message, information related to the query or request and technical data necessary for the security of the site.
In particular, name and surname, email, telephone number, reason for the request, specialist or area of interest, contact preference, content of the message, data provided in telephone conversations or WhatsApp, date and time of the request, processing status, a basic record of the steps taken, consent granted for commercial communications and technical data linked to the submission and security of the form may be processed.
Health data
If the user provides health information or data related to their health, said data will be processed only when there is an applicable legal basis and with the guarantees required for special categories of data.
Given that the user may voluntarily include information related to their health in the reason for consultation, said data will be processed only to manage the care request, guide the referral to the corresponding professional or area and contact the user. It is recommended not to include unnecessary clinical information, complete medical documentation or third party data unless it is essential and there is sufficient legitimacy to do so.
