Dr. Isaac Martínez López

Dr. Isaac Martínez López is a specialist in Angiology and Vascular Surgery. His practice focuses on the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease, with particular expertise in complex aortic conditions, carotid artery disease, lower limb ischaemia and venous disorders. His aim is to provide every patient with rigorous, personalised care, selecting the most appropriate treatment according to their anatomy, risk profile and individual clinical needs.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada in 2004 and completed his specialist training in Angiology and Vascular Surgery at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in 2010. In 2016, he earned a doctoral degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid. Throughout his clinical career, he has worked in leading medical centres and highly complex treatment programmes.

His main areas of expertise include open and endovascular treatment of aneurysmal and occlusive disease affecting the thoracoabdominal aorta, iliac arteries and visceral arteries. He performs endovascular procedures including EVAR, FEVAR, BEVAR and iliac branch device implantation, as well as open thoracoabdominal aortic and iliac surgery. His practice also includes carotid endarterectomy, endovascular treatment of the iliac and superficial femoral arteries, infrainguinal bypass surgery, and the management of venous insufficiency, pelvic and lower limb varicose veins, and abdominal vascular compression syndromes.
